Hope you’ve had a great week!

This weekend we’re continuing in our “Adam’s Family” Series, and are checking out Romans 5:15-21 where the Apostle Paul writes about the contrasts between Adam and Christ.

We see contrasts everyday of our lives, good and evil, fast and slow, clean and not so clean. The list goes on and on. What we need to understand is that, when we become Followers of Christ, the contrasts become more obvious and impacting in our lives. But when we apply God’s grace to everything we say and do the contrasts have eternal implications.

Romans 5:18 says, “Here it is in a nutshell: Just as one person did it wrong and got us in all this trouble with sin and death, another person did it right and got us out of it. But more than just getting us out of trouble, he got us into life!” I encourage you today to take inventory of your life and see if you’ve taken advantage of this life. See if you’ve applied it to yourself and the lives of others that you connect with on a daily basis. God’s instruction for today is “Choose Life”!

Come join us this weekend as we check out these contrasts that Paul writes about and bring someone with you as we continue to “Connect People to God”.

Green Tip

Buy food in packaged paper, glass, aluminum or steel as often as you can.  All these containers are readily recyclable. Avoid plastic: only 3.9 percent of all post-consumer plastic is being recycled today, and plastics as a percentage of waste is rapidly growing.
